I agree with what people have been saying about the N end of the strip and also about all the walking. I’d recommend checking the weather forecast a day or so before you go so that you don’t end up freezing or melting. One more thing: bring clothing that will be easy for you to clean or have cleaned, since people there smoke anywhere and everywhere and the smoke gets into everything.

There are so many nice places on the Strip, but my faves were Luxor (and the Sphinx!) and Caesar’s Palace (of course). I would have loved to ride that rollercoaster around NYNY but it was far too cold for that last Dec.
