Melting Pot and El Gaucho are pretty much downtown.

If you dont mind going out to the rustin way waterfront, CI Shenanigans and Lobster Shop are good.

however…my favorite lobster shop is in Dash Point, near NE Tacoma. Its right on the water, smaller, cozier, and not as busy. It doesnt seem as commcercial as the one off rustin way. The interior has the feel of an old cabin…ask to be seated upstairs for an extra special time and a great view.

My parents love the cliffhouse, it has a great view of port of tacoma/downtown and is located on 509 near Browns Point. Not exactly downtown, but close.

There are a couple other cool places i cannot recall the name. Tacoma is a hip place…if you find anything else extra special, reply back..i’m pretty much in a rut as far as places I go here.
