A question about this place:
Hi there! I am planning to spend 2 days in Acadia NP - are there enough hikes for two days, a hike meaning up to 6 hours walk? Or will I spend most time there in the car and on short walks? Thank you for giving me a hint!

I would definitely do the hike up Cadillac Mountain. It’s been years, but I also did a couple hours along the ocean (it involved lots of rock hopping and some climbing. It wasn’t too strenuous, but it sho’ was fun!)

Thank you to all the five of you for taking the time to answer my question. It was very helpful, because it has changed my view on the park: reding travel books here at home I got the impression that it was a place to merely drive through by car. But now I see that I can really go hiking and indeed enjoy two full days there – may be will find it too short…. Now I hope for good weather :-)
