For shopping I’d recommend Queen Street West from University to Bathurst, Bloor Street West from Yonge to Bathurst (check out Honest Ed’s just so you can say you went), Roncesvalles Avenue in the west end, and China Town around Dundas and Spadina.

Check out the Bata Shoe Museum if you didn’t make it on your last visit. Also get a local free paper and decide what festivals you would like to attend. In August there’ll be A Dream In High Park, Summerworks Theatre Festival, Irie Music Festival, Taste of the Danforth (not to be missed!), The Festival of Beer, The Pirate Festival, Buskerfest (awesome!), and probably Caribana. Maybe a few more too. You’ll need to visit Kensington Market on the last Sunday of the month if you’re here then.

For restaurants, just stay away from chains and greasy spoons, and eat wherever you’re hungry. It’s all good!
