Costa Rica is the most beautiful place in the world! Definately go to the National Park there. You will probably see cute little monkeys, especially in the morning. Go out dancing at night. I don’t remember it being dangerous-just be smart about where you are and what you are doing. Depending on how long you are going for-other places to check out include Jaco (surfing/a little touristy), Montezuma (on the peninsula of the Pacific side), and Monteverde Cloud Forest. Also, I’ve heard Drake’s Bay is beautiful and more secluded (down south on Pacific side).
