I agree with sybercat, just got back from the Bahamas. Naussa is the capital. We stayed at Cable beach at Breezes. We really enjoyed it. I took the buses everywhere…$1. Very safe. Locals were very nice. My daughter and I went all over on the bus. Mostly during the day. We stuck to the discos and entertainment at our all inclusive resort at night. If were you are staying doesnt have a lot to do, you can buy passes to visit other resorts. Nassau the town is kind of touristy. Senor Frogs and Club Fluid are night time hot spots, my 17 year old got invites but I wouldn’t let her go with strangers. We took the “Booze and Cruise” which was alot of fun and took a tour of Atlantis, which was worthwhile. Also visited the zoo and gardens Ardastra . Great seafood and mangos and pineapple. Especially the Conch.
