Sweden: Stockholms Län: Stockholm

A question about this place:
Is January a silly time of year to visit Stockholm? Is everything still open or does is close down to tourists slightly in the winter months? Will it be very very cold?! Thank you!

I agree – May or September. I love Stockholm in the summer but if you want to get the best view of Stockholm as it normally is – May and September is great. I also like sunny October a lot. Rainy October and November is the worst.

Mmm, but you guys say this because you’re Swedish. I think for foreigners, it’s much more “Nordic” in winter. That said, I love the place and would go any time of year :))
