Hi, camera bag of course are allowed, even luggages ;).. If you can carry them around in the zoo lol

They are not going to check what’s inside your bag, unless if the president or some big shot is in the zoo, hee =)

Singapore is a pretty relax place, so you shouldn’t have to worry too much.

If you are a musuem person, check out the Art musuem, Asian Civilisation Museum, National musueum (They are having the “Art of Cartier” exhibition and The Singapore Biennale 2006 now). And the musuem surrounding area are cool to visit too, with icons like the Esplanade Theatre, Merlion, Fullerton Area and Fullerton Hotel(a former colonial post office), Suntec City, Millenium walk, Bugis area, a huge National Library(along Victoria Street), Raffles Hotel and Raffles City, CHIJMES, Victoria Theatre, Anderson Bridge, Clark Quay, Boat Quay, Singapore River, Parliment House area etc

If you are coming to Singapore on this month of Oct ,there are several festivals and EVENTS happening now which you could check them out.

The 3 MAIN festivals for 3 Main cultures happening this month (Info of these places are inside)

The other usual places to visit are Orchard Road(For great shopping), Tanglin area, Botanic Garden, Little India(24 hrs shopping), Arab Street, Chinatown, Fort Canning, Singapore Science Centre, Holland Village etc.

If you are into computer and electronic stuff, there’s Funan Centre and Sim Lim Square..The entire 7,8 storey are selling all these latest and coolest gadget.

P.S. Taking the public transport is a breeze here, and it’s considered as world class system.. Even the bus and MRT subway systems are linked..therefore you could transport by using the same card. Tourist card is available as well. Unlike other asia cities, the taxis here are run by “meter”, so you won’t have to worry about being overcharge.

Hope you enjoy your trip in Singapore and don’t forget to claim your TAXREFUND upon leaving here!

(Also, you have 2 of the smiliar question appearing on your entries :))

Ha ha,

The taxis in the Philippines are also run by “meter”, but the meter is often tampered with :)

That is very true, I have been to Philippines, very scary rides, and can’t really trust the taxi drivers there, sorry. (Me and my other friends even got our wallets and cellphones stolen by the taxi drivers). Even in Malaysia and Indonesia too, the meters are often just for “show” or “display” only lol

It’s against the law in Singapore if your meter is tampered or NOTWORKING. You can’t continue to run the “business” until it’s fixed! Anyway, nobody ever tampered their meter in Singapore before. =)

Not in Singapore, it’s just not done. And for that, I’ve always found taking a taxi in the country a truly stress-free experience.

And if you forget something in your cab, you’ll have one of the highest chances in the world of seeing it again.
